Had problems yesterday with the groundbait sticking in the Preston method mould. First few came out fine then the problems started?

Do you double load , I have only had problems when the mix is drying out & I add groundbait to the initial load , Iv,e been using tghe sonubaits mix and never had a problem since as it mixes so well. If problems persist though just put a small bag over it and it should stop sticking

Try changing the consistancy of your mix to make it wetter or drier and see if that works or sprinkle a bit of dry groundbait in the mould before putting your method mix in.

Place a bit of plastic at the bottom of the mould before you add the GB it won’t stick then, I was using the Sonubait Tiger Fish Gb and mine wasn’t sticking

why not have a look at the kobra flexi mould.
                    i reckon it’s better than the p i one.
and the feeders are better too.

Not had a problem with the PI mould sticking.

There is a new one out from Drennan soon though…

I use the preston and had this problem also. Think someone on here told me to put the mould in a small plastic bag and then use as normal so the bag is between the g.bait/pellets and the mould. Works a treat and dead easy

I wrap cling film around the mould if it starts to stick
