The ‘B’ bank on Lake Two dominated results in the Wednesday Kobra Open at Dynamite Baits Makins, once again bucking recent trends.
Dynamite Matchman Supplies ace Shaun Claire was not to pleased when he drew B21, but steadily caught carp throughout the match on method feeder baited with pellet to finish with 25 to 30 fish for 161 lb 8 oz.
On peg B15, Daz Walters (Gedling Tackle) caught a few fish on feeder and bomb before switching to pole/paste fished in the margins for several big carp to lift his weight to 96 lb 14 oz for second place. This pushed Leicester angler Pete Eden (Syston Casters) into third place, his pellet and straight lead approach from peg B2 producing 91 lb 2 oz.
