        Invitation to attend the Next Midlands Region Forum

        You are invited to attend the next Angling Trust Midlands Region Forum on 26th September 2012…

        In an effort in ensure that the Forum is accessable to more anglers and clubs, we have decided to move the forum around the Midlands Region. This next forum will concentrate on matters relating to the Severn and will be held at: Ombersley Memorial Hall, Ombersley, WR9 0DY…

        To allow attendees to travel straight from work where necessary, a small buffet will be provided and will be available from 6.00pm. The Forum meeting itself will start promptly at 6.30pm and will close at 9.30pm.

        Our theme for the meeting will be:

        ‘Steps to Improving Fish Stocks in the Severn’

        Speakers will include:
        Alan Jones (Environment Agency)
        ‘A Dynamic Environment – How Rivers Change’
        Tony Bostock (Rivers Trust)
        ‘Severn Roach project’
        Dave Harvey (Thames Anglers Conservancy)
        ‘Taking the Initiative’
        Mark Owen (Angling Trust)
        ‘Cormorant Campaign Update’

        The meeting is open to all anglers, clubs, asociations, fishery owners, tackle dealers and anyone who cares about fishing.
