Used to be a great venue, (15 yrs ago) with lots of genuine Crucians and a few larger carp. Apparently they called the EA in to help remove some of the larger carp and they completely cocked it up and ruined the fishing. I have heard it is now recovered somewhat. In them days it was fishing with red maggots on the pole, but may have changed since then.

            Hi Lee,

Have you fished over there yet?

I have a match over there soon and would be interested how you got on?

I ‘ve only fished it the once last year and drew on the lawns, had plenty of fish although nothing of any size, as I remember it was won with tench on the lilly’s on the House bank.

Spoke to a few people now, seems its micros and corn, worm and caster on the pole.

Might be worth a chuck on the feeder also.

Anyone with any other info let us know.

                Had the match,

was won with around 13lb, 18 of us fished, most weights were between 8 and 12lb,

I had just over 10lb, 1 small carp and 3 tench and a few roach (very few)

Not many crucians caught at all.

                next stop Waterloo!
