lord mayor johnson looks like suggesting a foolish change in the law at the conservatve conference today.
nothing new there.
if his idea is followed it could result in the whole country on strike.
he wants the national body of a union to vote on local disputes. his view being that most will not vote as it will not effect them. a none vote well be classed as a vote against therefore no legal strike.
in reality the strike will become national, not local.
it will only take a handful of unions to go down this route and the country will come to a stand still, may even force the government out of power.
is mojo living up to his reputation or am i still living in the seventies?
