hi , i have tried pm ing certain people on here who have fished here recently with no reply , so have posted here now , just need info on this stretch have a match here next week , off for a praccy in week any info would be much appreciated on how to approach this canal i hear its fishing well for roach at the min. cheers

its fishing its head off at the moment mate and should still be good next week.last weeks open was won with 16lb and 2nd and 3rd had 15lb.half the anglers had 10lb plus.the winner caught on hemp and the runner up on pinkie.yesterdays club match was won with 17lb again half the field had 10lb plus.the winner caught at six sections with maggot to start with then FOUR sections with caster.midweek pleasure anglers are bagging up(50lb plus) with hybrids but these tend not to show in matches.enjoy your day next sunday mate.the fish tend to shoal up here around about this time every year for a couple of weeks to spawn and then disappear.

Around 11.5 mtrs was best when we were there last summer ….. its quite deep so top 4 four and even top 5 in places rigs but dont fish too heavy . The roach are a good stamp and they love the seed ! Lovely fishing wish the venue was a tad closer lol 😉 😎

just , drying off from junkie tday , you were right solid is the word , caught at 9 mtres steady on maggot and pinkie , but caught most of my fish on top 3 on hemp, me and my mate weighed em in he had 10lb 8oz and i had 16lb 7oz fished peg 416 and my mate fished 415 looking down the canal seemed to be more fish topping to my right than there was near us really enjoyed tho cheers for the advice lads

didnt fish like it did in practice , there again there was no gale force winds last time i was there lol ,couldnt buty a bite close in , had all my fish at 7mtres ,by 12,oclock i couldnt feel my hands ah well try again nxt yr lol 🙁
