Kamasan are bringing out 3 new types of B911s
Theres the B911F1 which is a lighter version of the origional hook, and a spade end and eyed B911X which is a stronger version of the origional, should be in the shops late january early febuary

the reason i stopped using them was i found they were too heavy for light fishing, and they gaped easily on big fish, so im lookin forward to trying the new ones!

Same here, ended up switching to Drennan Wide Gape Pellet and Silver Fish Pellet for those very reasons so I’m very keen to have a close look at the new patterns.

thats weird dan, cos thats the hooks i switched to for my general pellet fishing..
ill be loathed to go back to the 911`s now cos ive no complaints with the drennan
but ill give em a go 🙂
incidentally, have you tried the silver fish match hooks for maggot/castor?
              i really like them!

Yes, they are my first choice for maggot and caster! I have been really impressed with all the Drennan hooks if I’m honest. They are strong, light and stay very sharp.
