Sadly it doesn’t look I’m going to be getting out on the river on Thursday…

What have the rest of you got planned?

Just to whet the old appetite for OnlineFishing.tv members I’ve put up a show in which Darren Cox fishes the Warwickshire Avon above Stratford on stick float and straight lead and catches some big chub and a personal best barbel….

I was going on the Trent, but the stretch I fancied is inaccessible because some feckin pikeys/didicoys broke the access gate down (to which members have keys) and the farmer’s had to put a giant boulder across it to keep the b”$%^&*s out.

A three month wait – for this.

          Country’s knackered.

If you work, pay taxes and play by the rules you end up a bloody laughing-stock for all the dossers on the take.

Child Beale Sunday, if it fishes I might have a day off and fish the skivers midweeker at Wallingford next week. If it doesn’t I’ll save the day for the midweek knock ups on Roach City (Wallingford up) a bit later.

I will be on the River Yare, Thursday and Saturday, perhaps on the R. Bure on Sunday if there is one. The Bure match will mean an early start as it is an hour and a half away and the draw will be 6 am!

I can’t wait myself, casters and worms all ready and I am sure that I won’t sleep tonight. Mix some ground bait this afternoon and get a couple of feeder rods made up. Empty all the carping gear out of the box, carry-all and rod bag.

I had better get started on doing it otherwise I will not be ready and be up until midnight.

I’ll be on Medley at 1st light on the glorious 16th. Thames is still like a millpond despite all the rain but hopefully the bream and maybe a odd tench will latch themselves onto my hook 😀
Plan to fish the channel on the 17th but if it is pouring as forecast I might reconsider.
1st match is sunday on Medley and the channel 🙂
