EVENT: WEDNESDAY ‘NISA FEEDERS’ OPEN MATCH
    VENUE: LAKE TWO
    DATE: 13 FEBRUARY 2019
    RESULT
    1st Daz FORREST – Raygill Angling 53-15
    2nd Chris WAYTE – Coalville 52-00
    3rd Andy FINDLAY – Preston Innovations & Sonubaits 49-03
4th Shaun GREENFIELD – Manchester Angling Club 31-15
5th Martin HINCKS – Ajax Angling Club 29-04
    6th Scott FORD – Northampton 18-08 (including carp 12-03)
    Number of pegs: 26

    Report:
A beautiful clear and sunny winter’s day after a hard overnight frost saw another good turnout, a close result, everyone catching, with all bar two catching at least one carp.

Although Chris Wayte (peg A20) caught steadily throughout the early stages of the match, a late run of fish by Daz Forrest (A13) and Andy Findlay (peg B1 – again!) made for a very close finish with Daz winning with 53-15. He caught most of his 7 carp in the final 90 minutes on method feeder cast to the island. Chris had his nine carp on bomb and bread, only adding one in the final hour, and losing two on a “snag” (line hanging from the floating boom) which cost him, as his 52-00 left him 2-00 short of winning.

At the other end of the lake Andy Findlay struggled for bites before finding the fish late in the match close to the bank and to his right. He caught his seven carp on bomb and corn to total 49-03 for third place.

Shaun Greenfield filled fourth place with 31-15 from peg A5, five carp all on method feeder, Martin Hincks (A15) in fifth with 4 method feeder carp for 29-04, Scott Ford (peg B 15) in sixth with 18-08 on feeder, including a carp of 12-03.
