North East Matches

  Since there are so many users on this site do you guys organise matches ?
  
  Would be keen to find out whats happening in the North East, Lincs to Yorkshire kind of area, I have been to Lindholme but thats about it.

  Im in the North-West and have fished on Lindholme, Oaks and Hayfield in Yorkshire though matches and team events organised on this forum. There have been quite a few matches organised on this forum in the past. Just needs someone to organise a match on a quality venue and quite a few will be interested. Contact Neil G at Lindholme (Neil G is a member on this forum) and ask about organising a match for this forum. Im sure he will be happy to help you out and im sure he will tell you that when matches have been organised in the past. Its always been well attended at Lindholme and a good fun day out. Most forum matches organised though this and the other angling forums tend to be on Midland venues so more can attend with reasonable travelling distances.

  North East matches. Go to Wilton Angling club website based in Middlesbrough.Matches throughout year starting in Jan then every fortnight.Woodlands. Forest Lane. Oaks.Usually 25 to 30 fishing.Last match at Woodlands we had this years Fishomania winner fishing as a guest he didnt win or frame so you can see its a decent standard.Hope this has been helpfull
