Got back yesterday, weather was rubbish & the fishing didn’t improve until the end of the week!
Usual pegs on Tanners with 11 probably the most consistent.Drew peg 4(Golden Peg)& really struggled,32 not much better & 30 getting beaten by a pound on one side & having the exact same weight the other, there’s always next time.lol.Had a decent afternoon on Woodpecker 16,with big fish coming on 10mm pellet on the straight lead. One of our guys had one 17lbs+ on the wag on Friday.Residents match on Fri.fished ok with a few 100lb + weights,143lbs peg 4 winning,Carpcruncher wasn’t happy losing a lot of fish on peg 35,which probably cost him the coin, but kept the whole lake amused! Top man though Lee,nice to meet you.
Andy was his usual self, roll on next year, can’t wait to get back.

As Decaff says .. fishing was patchey. I put it down to the skimmers Humping one day and not the next .. couldn’t make there mind up as the weather was up and down!!

All Matches were won with 100lb plus weights and backing weights. Winning methods on Tanners and woodpecker were mainly based around the Bomb feeding 8mm or 11mm coarse pellets and the favourite seemed to be double 8mm hair rigged.

Skimmers were not playing at all on any of the lakes really , pines was still good for tench crucians and odd skimmer , 60 – 80lb weights on the paste.

On Josephs the dam wall was producing big fish on the pole. well into double figures.

Emilys pool at the Back of Andys Shop was good fishing with small pastie carp on the wag nailed to the deck with 6mm pellet.

Good to meet you two Decaff , Yes I had a mare one the friday . weighed 90lb and should have had double that…..never mind~sick
