All this talk of the next England manager should be Harry Redknapp is all a media hype and in 12 months time the same newspapers and television experts[?] will be calling for his sacking. Harry basically is lacking in tactical knowhow as was exposed with Spurs efforts in Europe, he will go the same way as Kevin Keegan a fine man with a desire for England to do well, but was let down by his tactical knowledge and players who do not have the desire to play with any passion for their country. The newspapers continuely write about our so called WORLD CLASS players,[ie. Rooney,Gerrard etc.] would they actually get into a World eleven, not a chance…
The problem with the England football team is the greedy, gravy train F.A. running it and players that are picked solely under pressure from the MEDIA. let us get back to the days when PRIDE in your Nationality meant something and money counted less.

I agree that Redknapp has been caught short tactically against several good sides this year, but I am not sure that there are any other particularly compelling options.

I think the best thing we can all do is moderate our expectations of England at Euro 2012 downwards! I can see them not winning a single one of their group games.

I would say Rooney would be in a world eleven for sure! that’s it though! Tactically Harry isn’t like jose and pep guadiola but still enough to take the three lions some distance i would think. you could say jose and guadiola haven’t been tactically right all season, real madrid in CL have been dire last few seasons and with the team they have they should be trouncing on everyone! Also Barca have slipped up numerous times this season and many due to the managers fault IMO.
