Paste Fishing.

  i make my paste from 4mm skretins and feed the same, but i do know others who feed hemp

  I use the Marukyu Pastes to good effect, fished over micros (clearly would being a stockist), but many customers have used some of the stickier Groundbaits to make paste from and then fished that over the same groundbait. I guess as long as the groundbait holds together well you could use any for fishing paste.

  I normally feed 4mm pellets to keep a bit of feed,noise factor going in the swim,but have used micros as well before now as they break down quickly to form a nice carpet similar to a fine groundbait,which keeps fish rooting around.

  bait-tech special G (green) for me paste,,, fantastic stuff !
  and i always feed 4mm,, no particular reason other than the fact its what i was shown to do by a very good paste angler ! 😉

  For me paste is a big fish bait and so I prefer to feed 4mm skretting’s over micro’s which I also find can waft upn off the bottom and give you liner hell. A lot of anglers like to feed hemp with paste but I don’t have much confidence in using this as I’ve only used a dozen times so that;s my reason for using pellet.

  This….I used it recently at Barnburgh and it worked brilliantly, simple to mix and I just fished it with 4mm fishery pellets (skretts)……it’s a bit finer than swim stim IMO.
