Peatling pools

Hi all, anyone fish Peatling Pools and if so any info, depths, bait, etc other tips would be appreciated, got Fisho heat there in May, thanks in advance.

Best advice is to ask again nearer the day, also, find out what lake you are on. The 2 larger lakes have bigger fish in them and lots of matches are won with well over 100lbs, so saying the other lakes are also full of fish, although fish are generaly smaller but again high weights are on the cards.

Very difficult to give info due to all lakes being in for fisho .

if you draw plough or harrow , they are snake type lakes approx 14 – 16 m wide . fish pellet or paste . depths 2 feet across , 5-6 feet down the track.

if you draw the big lakes , fill it in with corn – you are fishing for a win , so go for it – you could do a VERY big weight , pellet wag is also an option.

difficult to say more than that as lake sare so different and all in.

one thing i will say about peatling is make sure you know how your section has been pegged because in last years fisho i was top weight on my lake only to find out that my section had been split half and half with another (better) lake and i had infact finished about 5th in my section of 10 even though i had beaten the 20 or so anglers on the same lake as me complete madness
