TF_DishyfishEasy gaz easy!! Mate you would of likely been on peg 14 no ice to break and probably bagged up lol. That end of lake ice free.. Mate I was thinking of not going myself, because of the very difficul week I have had. After speaking to a couple of people who thought It will do me good I decided to give It a bash.
My brother must of been laughing his head off up there. Grown men chucking lumps of all sorts trying to break a swim to fish. Luckly the old boy there was cutting trees and burning them. So I had a few visits to warm my hands. Mate we are on New lake next time, so hopefully a few bites!! have to get through 6 inches of ice though lol..
P.s Milo are those broken fingers because of rucking down the Kings Rd in the past…~naughty ~naughty lol..

TF_PikeyAs the organisor of the League, I have absolutely no problem with anglers missing matches in the winter if they have health problems. The league is not a serious team event and really just organised to give 30 anglers something to fish at a time when there are few local matches about.
I am 50 and am probably one of the youngest fishing, we are all getting too old to have to be throwing ice breakers about !
Sundays Result was as follows
Jeff Simmons…New 10….60-10-0
Brian Wharton..New 9…..35-8-0
Dave Pearson…New 2…..26-8-0
Donald Garnish..New 4….22-0-0
J Clark………New 8….21-12-0
Peter Turnbull..New 6….21-8-0Ian Summers..Horseshoe 9…18-8-0
Bubs………Horseshoe 10..17-10-0Old Lake was a bit tough with Tony Kent winning with 1-8-0 !
Teams in the League
Rats…………….8 pts
Team Marukyu…….18 pts
Foxy Five……….19 pts
Bub’s Babes……..19 pts
Quimstim………..30 pts
Triple Aces……..30 pts
Cabin…………..32 pts
Muppetts………..34 pts
Ian’s Team………38 pts
GBG…………….42 ptsFinal round is Sunday week and weather permitting, those on Old this time will be on New, New moves to Pittance and Horseshoe moves to Old.

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEPlummers…..Well said mate.Dont give it another thought.I had to drive my Mother who is 94 to Bexhill on sea in Sussex.I managed to get a replacement for the team, who no doubt did better than i would have done.We shouldnt have to give reasons for our non attendance to bloody stiring grumpy anglers.Blimey what if an angler was rushed to hospital or worse?…Yes if you can let the organiser or your team mates know in time all the better, but as Dave said he does understand….Jesus its fishing.

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEHa bleeding ha Herbie.
Funny you said that mate.I did look into the actual Bus route to Bexhill on Sea.It meant that my dear old Mama would have to leave at 6am,have to change buses 25 times, take in 743 bus stops en route, and arrive 11am the next day.All in all not to bad i thought, but my Mum was a little concerned about changing her wee wee bag along the way,and was a bit worried about her wheelchair getting scratched…….Bloody Mothers…Whod have em?….lol.~naughty ~naughty ~naughty ~think ~think ~think -
