Pole joint restorer

Hi lads any info on pole joint restorer …noticed Preston do one.
Just after feedback as to whether these so called restorers are any good or whether a re-furb at the the likes of Esselle is a better option.

imo yer better off wrapping brown parcel tape round the male joint if its worn cause itll last longer and for the female joints get them reinforced by a pole repair center it will tighen the section back up ive bought those joint build up products and they dont last 2mins b4 u have to do it again

I have tried the maver carbon spray stuff and it came off after about 2 or 3 trips.

i,ve found thin coats of super glue on the female joint works well and lasts a lot longer than carbon spray, just give it a light rub down with wet and dry to get it nice and smooth

I used carbon spray on some of my old poles joints. The joints started to stick after that when it rained.
Never had a problem prior to spraying them.

super glue applied with a plastic bag covered finger on the MALE joint works for me.
