        What are you guy using, was using son of a gun but finding it difficult to source
        now so maybe hair con or baby bath , what you using?

          just water mate i found all these lubricants bunged the section up so just use water now never had a problem since

              I agree with Toro. All of these lubs have oils / detergents / scents which inevitably end up on your hands and bait.

                Always used son of a gun and never had an issue with it clogging the pole sections. Stopped using my K47 back end of last year and re-elasticated some of the match kits a few weeks ago and there is no residue in the top kits.

                  I found son of a gun made some brands of hollow elastic swell in diameter. I too am on the look out for something other than water.
