TF_CutnutIf you are a competant DIYer and not a bodger you could do it yourself…check outhttp://www.carbonmods.co.uk/Departments/carbon-fiber-kits.aspx The kit costs £36 including p&p and has full instructions and there’s a video to watch on the web too.
I’ve just received one and will be looking at repairing a no6 and a topkit. maybe a no5 if I set my stall out to do all of them at once.
Or give yourself less hassle but more cost and send it to Scott or similar .

TF_CutnutI’m not an expert mind:
Whats the internal diameter of the male end of your section? 😮
What pole and which section is it?What’s occurred? Delamination? A crush?
If you have a piece of old pole section that you could sleeve through the section and glue that in with the resin in the kit then cut back when dry that would work. I’ve done that with no4 and no5 sections on my lads Conny Ultra.
Using the cloth from the kit I would expect to be more tricky, you would need to make some sort of mandrel to help apply pressure on the inside to the cloth as it cured. Maybe a condom/balloon 😮 on the inside and tape round the outside to keep things from cracking or bulging. Then remove carefully.
Anyone else with ideas? Be surprised if those that do this for money will be willing to divulge their method…but who knows 😎

TF_Johnny MacDrop it off on Rochdale Angling Tony. They’ll get Danny Sixsmith to do it. It’ll be stronger than new.

The drive from Ireland maynt be cost effective
Hence the question.
Have sent sections off to a few lads and Esselle is first class but its for a pole im going to sell and want to keep cost down. -
