Power gum

Lads do any of you use power gum through your top kits for line to hand fishing .

If so what strength and how many sections do you put it in.

never used powergum. I use a tight 14 elastic through one section.

I have it in my bagging pole for the likes of Rolfs and boddingtons. Have a half length of orange vespe and with half powergum in my top two ki. The power gums stretches a bit and had no problems. Like the set up. saves on cost aswell as 3m length of elastic does two kits.

Yes, I have gum through the hollow top two of my conny whip. I use the lighter of the drennan and have it set to come out about 3 inches max. It just gives that little bit of cushion but is a lot more direct than elastic.

used to use 14lb powergum for ireland all the time, not used it for a long time though, what you using it on here?? and where are you baggin atm?? lol
