It was the Preston Flagship pole about 8 to 9 years ago and was about £2,400 quid.
Was it good? Absolutley, as the name says!
It was one of the first Gis compatible poles, so alot of that range would interact with it.
It was made by Lerc in France and now they are getting old, the original spares are getting hard to find, PLUS, dont forget that PI stuff is now made by Reglass in Italy.
The spares where a stonking price and i recently sold a complete original pole with extras for 800 quid.
It was a top end carbon manufacture, supplied with magic steps on the top kits, was as straight as an arrow, was well fishable at all lengths and had a black finish, ie no suncore.
What else do you want to know?

This pole is awsome! its as solid as any pole on the market, i’d say theres no pole on the market at the top end as strong, its quite slim to and has a good finish for shipping.
The problem comes from the spares there all still available, but the price of them is shocking this is down to the materials used and the price of them now! a number 7 retails for around £700!!!!!!!
Any gis/gxr top 5 will fit as its first generattion, some other 1st generation sections will fit further down, i’m certain its the gis 8 (not 81) sections that fit too,
The kits are nice and short which lots prefer, i sill use some match+ kits with the 1’s removed from one 7 years on for shallow fishing,

              hope this helps

ive had mine for about 4 years now its the best pole ive ever had infact ive got 3 of them with loads of spare sections, just in case. if you put the gis 10 up against the newest which is the gis14 the 14 is much lighter but in my opinion its is nowhere as strong as the 10.
yes getting sections for the 10 is hard but by going on fishing sites you would be able to get what you want.
