Has any of the tackle companies designed a pulla bung that can also store excess elastic, so that the tension can be adjusted, like the preston Stora bungs but with a Puller?

It wouldnt work you need direct tension, if you want something like that just take your stora bung out and pull that

The nearest you’ll find to that solution is the Browning tension puller kits which (according to the Davies Angling advert) also fit Sensas, Maver Competition and Colmic poles. They have two holes to enable you to use a bung. Failing that, you may be able to get your kits converted, or just pull the bung out?

Thanks, I have a DIY version already, I have been away from fishing for a while and thought they might be something out there now. Basically a Preston stora bung with a rod attached will do it, ill get the aroldite out again!

you can use a sliding stop knot on your elastic, made of elastic, not ideal but it works.

What about adding a 2 inch piece of plastic tube or drinking straw to the elastic at the base of the pulla bung ? when you cut this tube off it will give you enough leeway to tie another connectore at the other end that or tightly wrap electricians tape around the elastic leaving spare dangling
