Ive just done some side pullas on mine just get a piece of old section about an inch and a half that fits over your top kit and fits snug were you want your side pulla, araldite in place, put maskin tape were you want the hole, drill the hole and araldite an internal bush in place job done and they work perfectly 🙂

the preston bungs are just the job,i’ve been using them since they came out with no problem at all and they weigh next to nothing.
before you go drilling all your topkits just fast forward a year or two to when your selling your pole on ebay or wherever?
if your pole has a hole in every topkit i and a lot of others would’nt buy it off you ~think

Even if the top kit has a hole drilled in it you can still go the conventional way and ust a normal pulla the hole wont make any difference to the pole what so ever.As for sellin it im sure people would buy it if the top kits are drilled or not wont make any difference at all.

I used a puller bung for the last time at last weeks Packington Fisho. If I’d caught anything over two pound I might have been able to tell you if they were any good!

I’ve got double puller kits on my pole, I have to say i was a little sceptical about them before I tried it. Bought some second hand top kits for my pole which had already been done and best investment i’ve made. Had more kits changed over since then

                      I got my done by

Another thing I had two puller bungs fitted in the bottom and two pre drilled with hole in the side .
I found the puller bungs in the bottom were much smoother to use than pulling elastic through the side .
I changed them all to puller bungs in the bottom and am much happier with this set up.
