Reel Lines Info please

Hi guys.
I have always used Maxima and its beengreat…but lately after 2/3 5 hour matches its been looking like its been on for 2/3 years.
Has anyone else seen this or maybe i got some spools out of a bad batch,i dunno.
What lines are you all using…..i mainly fish method up to 40yds max and plenty of my beloved pellet wag.

method feeders spin don’t they, on the retrieve? hence the twist, less sure if pwagglers spin. i’ve been using shimano aerocast, dead cheap and very good stuff.
