TF_MICK THE BOOKIE24 fished a clear slow flowing Thames on this bright Sunday at Lahelam.
1.Mark Lindsay(peg 8)……27lbs 09oz.
2.Mark Harrington(peg 7)…21lbs 08oz.
3.Tony Kent(peg 1)………15lbs 08oz.
4.Micky Davis(peg 11)……14lbs 15oz.Section 1.Mick Haskell(peg 6)..7lb 01oz.(triple default).
Section 2.Papa Alan Harrington(peg 16)..9lbs 13oz.
Section 3.Nick Early(peg 22)….13lbs 14oz.What a great day we had today lads.As you can see the “Father” didnt let us down and we all had fish in our nets at the whistle.
The first 3 were all on the Vicarage Lane section, where there was between 8-10 feet of water at 13mtrs.They all balled in at the start, and the 2 Marks were neck and neck from the all in.Mark Lindsay caught on Caster and his fish were a good stamp and this i think might have just kept him in front of his pal in the end. Both Mark L. and Tony Kent were pestered by Pike throughout the day,and Tony caught a Pike of around the 15lb mark on a good Roach and wasted time trying to get the bugger out of his peg.He said he had to bring his fish to the net very quickly as the predators were surrounding his swim and picking his fish off at regular intervals.
Mickyd. was next to me on my section and fished a steady match througout the day.Mick also balled in at the start, and kept the feed going in at regular intervals. He had a quiet spell at the end of the 6 hour match but still had to much class for the numpty sitting next to him.
All in all we had a great day out in preperation for the biggy next Saturday, and i hope any of the lads who fished with us today will frame in the Thames Champs…..They will deserve too.
BEST OF LUCK TO ALL WHO FISH NEXT SATURDAY….MTB. ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap -

TF_MICK THE BOOKIEI had a great day also, because Mick Haskell who came with his mate Kev Bennett from a fair distance for a practice for the T.C left early.Poor old Mick won his Section by triple default with 7lb and left his £50 packet for the skint BOOKIE to go home with….Happy days.
If anyone knows our Mick let him know the good news, and i will give him his winnings next Saturday….If i have still got it..lol…MTB. -

TF_splitshotStood behind Nick Hurley peg 22 and he was catching lovely quality Roach to about 12oz. Well done on winning section. Think I might go down for a pleasure day tomorrow. Were the top 2 weights from the green to the right of the car park looking at the river or further along to the right?

GREG(Splitshot)The top 3 weights were caught on the Vicarage Lane and Blacksmiths Lane section. These 2 Lanes run the right hand end of the Laleham stretch.Instead of turning to the right at the end by the Thameside Carpark, keep driving straight along the River. The sign says its a dead end but it isnt.Best of luck if your going fella.~clap ~clap ~clap

TF_StewartGreat to read that the ‘Father’ is fishing well, I used to love fishing the Thames when I lived in Surrey. Great to see the people that I used to fish with still catching – especially ‘papa’ Harrington. Reading reports like this makes me miss the Thamesiders Monday evening matches at Molesey.
