TF_Kagger TNBAfter approximately 6 matches worth of hard use (from new), one of the rubber anti-slip strips has fallen off the footplate of my box.
It’s my own fault obviously. I’ve taken it out in the rain, and had river water lap over it. I’ve also taken the liberty of standing on it.
Anyway, if anyone else has had this issue, did you just leave it off? Looks to me like it might be a bit slippy.
If you glued it back on, what did you glue it with? If I was only going to take it out in the sunshine (like most of my mates do with their motorbikes), I’d use superglue, but this sisn’t water resistant…

TF_Kagger TNBThanks for that.
Not cheap, but better than falling in like the bloke next to me did on Willow lake (Barford) today.
He asked me if I had any spare clothes, I told him no, but I had a plummet he could use to save going in again.
I don’t think he saw the funny side 😀

TF_toby bAny silicone seal will stick but the sikkaflex is particularly good failing that evo stick or thixofix

TF_Kagger TNBBe intersted to know your thoughts on them Kev.
Changing the subject slightly, it’s a shame you aren’t a bit nearer the coast. I have to spend every 15th week in Belgium. working in Zeebrugge, living in Brugge. We could’ve met up for a beer and a babble.
Have you had a look in any tackle shops over there? How do prices compare?
I know where there is one on the outskirts of Brugge, but haven’t made the effort to have a look in (I’d have to err… slip out of work 🙂 ) .

I live about an hour – hour and a half from Brugge and the journey isn’t that bad – not had a look at the tackle shops up around that area but the ones around here are more expensive so I do most of my buying online. If the exchange rate was more favorable then I guess it would be cheaper over here as it was several years ago.
I could always take a drive up for a meet and a beer mate – you’ll have to let me know when you’re in town

TF_Kagger TNBHi Kev.
I tried to send you a PM, but apparently you, as a user, don’t exist!
I sent it instead as an E-mail.
Let me know if you don’t get it.
Cheers
