stan,the pegs around the buoys(8-9 i think) are fliers for bream.groundbait feeder,caster and worm will do the trick.the lower number pegs can throw up barbel and a few bream.pleasure anglers use heavy gear and halibut pellets.good luck with the draw mate.

forget to add mate its quite a long chuck.if your pegged next to the buoys chuck to where they change colour.nearest i,ve been to these pegs is peg 25 so am only telling you what i,ve picked up from others.once again good luck.

Hi Stan,
Just remember its pegged arse about face, with peg 1 being the furthest downstream on top of the weir. It fished poorly in the Fretwell match on Bank Holiday. Hope the bailiff opens the gates for you otherwise its a mega walk. Look over the weir for the best peg on the river lol

Yes, the gates are open we each have to pay the bailiff £1 to go though it!

Do you know what oz of feeder is needed to hold bottom?
