Normal. Every fish turns into a bar of soap with a rubber net!

am i the only one who thinks fish thrash around more in rubber nets? Standard for me, they’re also lighter. 🙂

To be honest, for the last four years I’ve used Preston Latex nets and have never had a problem with them. Had two years from the first before buying a new one and keeping the old one for a (perfectly fine) spare. Before those I reckon I used to go through a net a year!

Have two fox ones bought when they came out and still going strong. Prefer them as they are lighter than none coated wet ones, the fish can move about I agree but have found that those held on their backs seem to calm down faster (carp are by far the worst for thrashing about.) Wouldn’t go back to none coated ones,

tried both the maver and the preston rubbers ones..and found that fish tend to bounce around in them..and don’t settle, went back on to normal landing nets(drennan match pro) and the problem has been erased the fish don’t bounce around and settle alot quicker ..so they’re now easy to unhook 😎
