  Keith Jobling sent in an interesting article this week on fishing the River Leam and it’s got me thinking that there may be a lot of you out there who would like to write an article and see it published…
  
  FISHING THE RIVER LEAM
  
  This could be a venue guide like Keith’s, a match report, a catch, tackle review or an event… preferably with a few pictures…
  
  If you would like to submit an article, you just need to email to me at [email protected] and I’ll do the rest and send you a link when it’s published.
  
  There’s no payment I’m afraid, but it is a chance to help fellow anglers and get an article published on Total-Fishing.com, which has over 40,000 unique users a month…

  Geeps, we all know the time and effort it takes to write up a decent article, take pictures, etc, maybe a small incentive free club membership for say 5 decent articles per year.
  
  At a quid an article it’s hardly the going rate but it may inspire someone to put pen to paper.
  
  I’ll even get me pen ready, although the nibs a bit rusty lol

  That’s fine by me Fred, for five articles deemed worthy of publication… wish I had a budget for articles, but I haven’t…

  Geeps I appreciate you don’t have a budget for articles and I am not suggesting any payment for articles written for the club website, at the end of the day a token offer may provoke a response where as the initial request didn’t, I beleive you really need some sort of motivation to write however small it is.
  
  I must admit you have always given me some good encouragement so I personally don’t mind submitting an article or two for the members to read, however others may require a motivating factor.
  
  Just a thought :o)

  I think this is a very good idea and one that i would love to have a go at
  havnt done much fishing over the past 6 months due to work commitments
  but will be back on the bank shortly
  i do keep a blog (its not updated at the min) but its a start
