Not massive weights, but a tight match. Pete fished the pellet feeder and pellet hookbait cast to the island and the pole and meat down the side of the reed bed to land carp – 8lb in his winning net of 72lb 2oz.

A very cold and windy day were it difficult to present anything on the pole. Nigel drew one of the best feeder pegs on the lake peg 36, catching steady all match on a small pellet feeder and pellet on the hook cast to the island, he landed carp – 5lb in his winning weight of 88lb 2oz.
