garydParticipantJust wondering what hook patterns you use when feeder fishing for skimmers?
-

TF_Man of KentT808 or B911 usually, as I don’t like to use fine hooks for skimmers as they tend to pull out too easily.

TF_Man of Kentjust re-read your question. For feeder fishing, I prefer B611/711 if I can get away with barbed.

TF_wildingukDepending on bait and expected size of fish, I use either the B560 or the tubertini series 18….the 18 is a great hook and deceptively strong, with a nice wide gape. Great chopped worm hook too.

makmiddy 63/13 on hard days
but if larger fish or odd carp its the middy 93/13 fab hooks stay sharp for longer than most others -

TF_Team RattlerAnother vote for the tubertini series 26. They really are worth searching out as they are awesome on the pole on naturalised venues as well. Not many shops over here tend to stock them preferring the most popular commercial orientated patterns but if more anglers got the chance to see them then more would use them i’m sure.

The Drennan Medium Feeder Combo – 11’6″ is perfect, and if you want to go accurately past 40yds then stick on the 13′ butt section.
