How would you target specimen bream this time of year on big natural reservoirs?

If I were having a go I would be tempted to pre bait a swim 1 kilo groundbait laced with everything and repeat this over a few days then fish it later in the day as the light fades 3 -6 pm

I can only get there for a day, so I think I might pre bait a line in the morning as soon as i get there then fish another line for big perch, then have a couple of hours on the bream line later on.

I’m not sure I’d go for any prebaiting other than perhaps half a dozen chucks with a feeder, especially as you’re only there for the day.

I don’t think they’re likely to be roaving around too much actively seeking out grub. Either you’ll drop on them or you wont.

For me it’d be chop in a groundbait feeder and either a smallish worm or red maggot on the hook

I’d find anywhere where the carp boys fish and drop in over their spots! Pre-baited for you, and most will tell you what bait they get pestered by bream on the most too.
