Just want some feed back from folks who own these boxes to see which one is the better box.

ST – The fact that its a metal frame was a massive benefactor when looking at the two myself.

I had an original D25 RX and always found it a bit to high for me. The composite frame cracked on one side. Rive replaced this FOC even tho it was about 3 yrs old. It looked mint with the new frame so I part exchanged it for a D25 ST which I have had for a few years and I can’t fault it apart from the plastic drawer handles falling apart.

Another vote for the ST, the draw handles are very easily cracked I’ve started to glue hardwood quadrant dowel under mine problem solved.

ST mate, I wouldn’t chance the plastic frames myself. Least with metal you know where you stand. Looking at the stated weights in this years Rive catalog too, there’s next to no difference between the plastic and metal frames.
