Swap Penrose SXL for smaller

I have one of the largest single wheel penrose barrows – the SXL which is 36″ by 28″. Would suit anyone with a Rive type box.

I am hoping to swap it for a smaller one – the XXL which is 32″ by 24″.

Am only looking to swap the actual platform bit – the wheels, handles and legs are standard on newish models so we should be able to hang onto those we already have.

Only reason for swapping is difficulty of storage and transport – it’s the best there is if you fish rivers and need a very stable fishing platform.

Had arranged to swap the barrow with Blankin Barry at last year’s Munkee/Shandees at Withy but he had an old model and the bits weren’t compatible.

Now that I can’t just leave it in the back of the car looking for something that is less hassle to keep loading/unloading. The XXL is only 75% of the size of the SXL.

Plus, it looks like I’ve got a buyer for my ex-military (Series 2) Land Rover Ambulance so can’t even store it locked in the back of that anymore along with all the chicken food etc….
