TF_kwadejSorry to say I have had four stewards drop out for this weekends Final.
Can anyone help?
A couple of you could sort out 20 pegs for me, as long as one is OK at weighing in, the other would just have to write the weights on the board, that really about all you will need to do. The last thing I want is for the anglers in the final weighing in.
Just give me a call on 01733 565159.
Cheers

TF_kwadejMate, I have even been on the radio with Keith asking for a little help!
Its not the best job in the world and if it was in Peterborough it would not be a problem.
I may be able to get an extra couple at the match if nothing happens over the next few days but I am hopeful we will get 10 at least.
I will be weighing in 30 pegs so its should not take too must time to sort the rest of the sections out, fingures crossed!
See you Sunday,
Cheers

TF_kwadejThanks very much Joff,
Went over to peg out yesterday and all those practicing looked to be bagging up, double figures of roach, even in a head wind. Plenty of bream about too and the smaller lakes are also producing. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I really hope the weather does not spoil it for us, as it looks as if this could be a cracker, very very impressed with these lakes
Come on down and have a look, some of the best anglers in the country on show for the last ever Angling Times team Championship Final!!

TF_yiddoHi Joff,
I am helping Ken out on sunday and i have already asked about the big carp and ken has got some specimen digi scales so we should be ok if someone has a munter. I personally cant wait for it i think it will be a great match loads of roach being caught it will be good to be able to see how the big boys approach it and i dare say i will pick up a few tips along the way 😉 -

The local side and know the waters well, which should work to thier advantage. I know they have put some time in and if it all falls right for them at the draw then you never know. -

TF_kwadejWell done to all those taking part yesterday, a fitting end to the Team Champs on what I thought was a cracking set of lakes.
Daiwa Dorking proved once again to be a force on any type of venue. PI Delcac posted a good score for second, just ahead of K.Starlets. (You can read all about it in next weeks Angling Times!!)
Well done to Charlie Lovell too, a worthy winner.
A special thanks to all those that helped to run the evert on the day, the stewards had the boards back in quick time, in fact we had the result ready before most of the anglers got back to the HQ.
A big thanks to Martin Greene too for all his help before the big day.
I should also mention Milton Keynes AA for allowing us to book the event on their waters.
Ken
