Do tench feed on meat with meat hook bait? ( meat over meat)

The simple answer is yes they do, however Tench especially the bigger ones seem to have a wide variety of diet.

It does seem to be that almost anything works with them worm & corn being a main choice, however a lot are caught on my local venue on meat.

You need to try it and find out the preference, Hemp bed with corn & some chopped worm is always a good starter. Do some research on your water find out what works.

Regular Tench hunters will no doubt have a great variety of options…. very big tench are hard to find though so don’t expect too much without a long wait.

you need to avoid the venues with vegetarian tench though

carrots or green beans might work on those venues
