I read in todays angling times that the peg fees for the County Champs final are £7.50. They are exactly that at Barston but Packington Somers website states peg fees are ‘£5.50 per peg from 1/3 – 31/10. With reductions available to large bookings’. 141 people will be on Packington so id assume that constitutes a large booking.

Now before anyone says dont go then i am going!

Just wish people would state fact rather than not, especially where money is concerned. If some is for organisation thats fair enough. But say that! Money is an emotive subject as proved by the Hyper Car Leasing thread of a few months ago. Its important to show where all the pennies are going.

Gnome, the entry fee for anglers at Barston will be £27.50, taking in the £7.50 peg fee. The entry fee for Packington anglers will be £25.50 if that peg price is current and correct. Anglers can be placed on the day. The other £20 will be paid out in full in individual pools for sections etc no admin costs or anything! Then there’s the £10k AT is putting in for the winning team.

fishy some of the 20 peg semis are not fully attended the derby one only had sixteen fishing ~think if you are close on the top twenty can you just turn up and see if there are places spare and could you fish ~think ~think
