        HI I AM GOING TO FISH THE RIVER DEE SOON NEAR HOLT IS THERE ANY ONE WITH INFO ON IT OUT THERE WHAT SIZE ROD OR FEEDER AND MORE IF THERE IS ANY ONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP MAYBE SOME ONE OUT THERE NOES THE CHARMAN OF THE CLUB THAT RUNS SOME MATCHES ON THERE.

            Fished Farndon a few years back. It’s very deep, you’ll need a long rod (15ft min, ideally a 17-20ft) and some bolly floats plus feeder can work. Must admit I always had the impression that it’s better in autumn/winter than this time of year.

            Warrington AA have some stretches and I think they run matches but joining a club affiliated to Dee Anglers might be a better bet. You could try the Eccleston stretch, that’s free and very similar fishing but again better in Winter.
