got a clubby on there this weekend any idea how its been fishing and what methods.
i have fished it quite a few times before one of them being earlier this year, i went with my usual chop worm n caster but struggled a bit allthough the lake did fish hard on the day.
a friend told me he would go all out with meat on the deck and up in the water, any advise and help would be good cheers guys.

Fish pellet shallow at around 13m feed 4mm or 6mm with a 6mm hard pellet on a band and have a deck rig for the same line fish a soft expaner on this and feed an edge line in around 2ft of water with anything your happy feeding ie pellet, meat, worm & caster or groundbait, hope this helps

depends how many’s booked on the clubby mate,
if theres around 20 i wouldnt waste my time fishing shallow unless i was lucky enough to have a spare peg either side of me, fish bottom of nearside shelf with hemp and meat and pellet on long pole ! feed 4’s and fish a 4 or a 6
loose groundbait and meat down the edge,
i wouldnt just use the edge line as a last hour swim, they seem to wonder in and out, you have 2 or 3 and they go,,, id drop on it when ever the other 2 lines where quiet just to pick the odd few fish off then top up and back out to the other swims,,,
it will just keep you ticking over !
0.18, size 14 pr36 or similar and a tight set 20 and pull like stink,,, only small barbel, but use anything lighter and you might aswell just put your rig in the sticks !
cross your toes and fingers and hope you get peg 1,,,, out and out flyer !
other than that id be happy with anything from 8 to 12 !
