its true last years home nation was a bit of an eye opener with reguards to feeding in that in the main, a more negative approach was taken by most but to be honest i think the thinking behind this had a fair bit to do with the bombardment of bait the day before and whilst it may be true that a more negative approach seemed to work better than usual tactics, you have to bare in mind the home internationals, they had next to no spectators watching due to the foul weather conditions !
i think it will take a big man to emply these tactics for the final !
ive booked on a local open for sunday but im half tempted to drive back over to cudmore from sheffield to spend the day camped behind someone like william, or big al, if yer cant learn owt from them fella’s who can yer learn from ?
with regaurds to who the winner will be i think most of the fella’s are wanting an early peg, perhaps peg 6 at the highest, but if i remember correctly,, no one wanted matt halls peg (16) the year he won it due to the wind in the week leading upto the match the wind was blowing down to the opposite bank !
either way its gunna be another fantastic day out !
