Tonight on Tight Lines…..

I know this won’t ring everyone’s bell – but tonight there’s a film about salmon fishing on the River Itchen in Southampton.

It was shot at the Lower Itchen fishery last week.

All I’ll say is I’ve never seen so many fish cruising about in crystal clear water. It’s a stunning venue and if you like river fishing (coarse or game) it’s worth a look.

The history of the place is extraordinary.
