please can anyone tell me something i dont already know about this buying of a top
end pole, second hand top end pole. When a top end pole Gmax – Airity – Z9 –
is for sale there must be a minimum of 179 people ready to but it, second hand and in
good condition maybe. Doesnt anyboby consider a mid range brand new pole instead?
New – clean – no invisible damage you obviously cant see!! we there is damage on a top
end pole as all that watered down carbon having been pulled endlessly about by big carp.
I had a freind a while back now a boeing examine my G995 which even now is still in
world class condition and i was shocked, small tiny lines and cracks running up from
the joints and even on the 8th section where my arm is. Hey good luck to anyone who
buys what they want, and if any sellers dont like this i dont care as i soon will have mine
        up for grabs.

I would guess there’s a fair chance that NEW poles could be damaged as well.

Poles: At the end of the day all we are doing is fishing with them not going into space with it 😀

I think most manufacturers have a policy of replacing broken sections within 1 year IF they are found to be due to faults attributable to them ie they were not made properly.
However if faults are found to be due to damage it is assumed that the user was at fault.
Damage could have occurred in packaging from the maker, in transit to retailer, at the retailer etc but the buyer has no comback whatsoever if a section falls apart first time he uses the pole, if the failure is due to anything other than a proven fault from the manufacturer.
I would therefore advise that the best buys are expensive poles second hand with no warranty. I fundementally do not agree therefore with the original post.
