        Does anyone know if any of the old Tri Cast poles 16m sections fit Trilogy to take it 17.5m and if so which ones. I’m thinkin Nuetronic, Excellence, Armantia etc.

          No the butt sections from the Excellence dont fit the Trilogy. The Garbolino flatt butt that i had for my Excellence that fitted the 14, 16 & 18m sections fits the Trilogy but i have had to put about 3 turns of brown parcel tape on it. I would not recommend the early Excellence butt sections as they had a design fault and broke under their own weight.

            The Neutronic defo fits up the dolly butt

              Yes it will fit up but dont you think it goes a bit too far, the Trilogy has a slightly bigger Dia. butt sections to the older Tricast models.

                it doesnt fit the 16m section it goes up the dolly butt, which is slightly smaller diameter.

                  In that case then all Daiwa pro mandrel and Garbolino G series will fit?
