Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery results and form to October 25th, 2010

The fishing has improved after the mid week frost. The fish are now feeding well and weights have improved. White and red maggot along with pellet have been the best baits this week, fished on the bottom with groundbait slop at 8-10m on most pools.

        Top Pool
Waggler to the island on straight lead on open ended feeder for better carp. Pellet or maggot for f1 carp and silverfish.

        Bottom Pool
Three 20lb+ carp caught this weekend to bread fished on the bottom to straight lead against the island. Pellet for smaller carp and maggot for silverfish.

        House Pool
Pellet at 6m for f1 carp, bream and roach. Maggot for tench, rudd and perch.

        House 2/Extension Pool
Red maggot in the margins and at 10m for common carp, mirror carp, roach, perch, bream, rudd, barbel and gudgeon on all pegs. Straight lead to the island has also been catching well on dead maggot.

        New Pool
Maggot has been producing lots of fish at 8m with carp, bream, tench, rudd and perch on most pegs. Pole feeder to the island are also producing some good bags of fish.

        Canal Pool
Red maggot has dominated this pool all week, fished at 6m and 14m. Lots of f1 & f2 carp, barbel, bream, rudd and perch on all pegs.

        Club Pool
Pellet has been the best bait on this pool for f1 & f2 carp, bream and roach at 10-14m. Maggot for all other fish.
