I’ve never had any problems with Preston waterproofs, but it seems a lot of people will tell you otherwise! The only downside with them is the leg could do with being a little longer.

Pro-tak seems to be the way most would recommend going, but you’ll have a bit of a wait for them.

Have a look in the sports shops at Gortex jackets and over trousers, they are a lot cheaper than hh, and they have the same waterproof properties

Protak TR Design clothing is just as good as HH Gortex. Before anyone says ‘how do you know’, I have both in the cupboard and use the Protak unless it hasn’t dried out from the day before when the HH comes out.

I use the unlined version but cannot recommend the fleeces unless you want to use it as a liner for the jacket.

Protak every time. Fantastic service and cheaper than the “badged” suits. You won’t be disappointed.

Never use a brolly and I use Protak, never let me down, lined 3/4 jacket, lined bib and brace and unlined overtrousers for summer

Protak Clothing very good, pretty sure they only do the TR range now.

If you want Goretex at a bonus price try here…http://www.thistlegarments.co.uk/royal-navy-waterproof-gore-tex-jacket-45-p.asp

I bought two sets last year and they are fine and dandy. You might find you need to select the olive set to get them in your size they are unligned by the way…I posted about these last year and they went out the door like hot cakes.

I do have Protak too and will be ordering a new set shortly as I’ve outgrown my current set, I get mine embroidered with name and club etc.
