Big thank you to the anglers who tuned out today. Weather was overcast with heavy showers. Fishing middle to high pegs, plenty of roach and skimmers caught from most pegs. The fish have started to feed regular on hemp seed bait. Andy Curless working between hemp and bread from peg 38 caught for the duration of the match and missed out on the venue record by 1 dram. 2nd went to Wayne Shippley who from peg 50 fished tight to the far bank also caught roach on hemp and squatt. 3rd seen a newcomer to the venue Matt Cullerson also tempted fish to hemp from peg 40 fishing tight to the sunken boat.

Fished the middle section today, roach and small bottle top skimmers made up most of the weights on most pegs. With bright sunshine for most of the match the better skimmers seemed to switch off. Hooking into a bonus bream and some quality roach Carl Shippley fishing maggot down the track caught steady for most of the match. His brother Wayne finished second fishing squatt, he had mostly roach fishing right over the far bank. Third went to Brian Barton with a bonus tench caught early in the match on maggot and bread roach made up the remainder of his weight.
