W.b.c. Angling grand union canal kings road tyseley 15/7/2012
A Big thanks to the anglers who tuned out for this weeks open. We fished the middle to high pegs today.Bright sunshine and with the influx of rain for most of the week fishing had slowed down and fish on most pegs where proving hard to fin. Dan Tresigne from peg 26 made the most off the wide section, feeding bread and using punch tactics found skimmer to the 12oz mark, 2nd went to venue regular Keith Woodhead who fished the next peg 25 also had skimmer and roach fishing the same method, 3rd place Dave Sheaf made the most of the end peg, fishing right over pulled a nice bag of roach out on punch. Hopefully the rain will ease off this week and we can get back to some more consistent weights throughout the the stretch.
