Wednesday open matches Beds,Herts,Bucks or Cambs

  Anyone know of any regurar wednesday opens in any of the above counties. My daughter starts full time school in september and got the green light to fish every other week in exchange for every other sunday lol. Trying to sort out suitable venues beforehand.

  I’m pretty sure Lawn Farm near Cambridge run a Wednesday league, but I’m not a part of it, so may be wrong. You could also ask at Stanjays in Godmanchester for advice and Manor Farm on A1 at Beeston plus Greensands just down the road from them. these are all commies, though: I don’t know whether you want natural venues….

  Cheers mate forgot about lawn fm. Mannor fm is a over 60s league that my mate runs, and greensands is shut midweek i think(both round the corner from me)but will defo give lawn fm a ring tomorrow as is only 30 mins away. I am sure castle ashby used to run wednesday matches .

  Toby B, Lawn Farm don’t run a Wednesday open but a Thursday evening open. 17.15pm draw fish 18.00pm-21.00pm.
  
  Stanjays tackle run a evening match on Wednesdays at Cromwell lake in Brampton Cambs. Details from the shop mate.
  
  Or if you go a bit further Cross Drove near Lakenheath Suffolk have a open match on Wednesdays. Worth the extra distance mate!
