TF_Bear361ParticipantHi guys, I haven`t posted on here for ages but thought I would ask your opinion. I had a match on Sunday on the B`ham Fazeley canal. My main attack was going to be b&j as long as I could get some. It was our final match of the year in the club that I am in and was laying second in the league so I really needed to do well to stand a chance of winning our club league. Ok I know b&j is not a miracle bait and you still need to catch the fish in front of you but I felt with b&j I stood a great chance of doing well. Anyway, I struggled to find a supplier untill I found a place on the internet advertising it, plus delivery to your house. I rang the number and placed my order of 2 match packs of joker and 2 packs of bloodworm hooker packs, ( I bought two as I had a mate who said he would like some and we were both scouting around for some) I paid £22 via paypal, and was told that it would be delivered to me via nextday delivery on Saturday. Surprise, it never turned up. I rang him twice leaving my number to get back in touch with me but nothing, I checked my paypal account and it was payed to him last Wednesday. I luckily had some punch made up and was able to get some worms for choppy and a few casters. I did in the end come third, the guy who won our league came second so in the end it didn`t matter but I just feel annoyed. I won`t name names yet because he may have an excuse or maybe it was the courier`s fault so you can`t blame him, but why when I left messages for him to call me back, did he not reply. Anyway rant over, till next time I need some b&j! If I get no joy what can I do? Can I report him to paypal? And should I name n shame just so this doesn`t happen to any one else who needs b&j?

TF_bigoldbigbuttParticipantid ask for a full refund ,if it does turn up it`ll probabley be dead. if it was sent by courier .the supplier should have been able to track it.

TF_wildingukBit of a drive for you, but nathans of derby has always served me well for worm and joker….but if a load of you need some and split petrol costs could be worth a drive.

TF_One Out of the FrameNever shirk a hard phone call! If you have bad news to give, give it as soon as possible. It is better for everyone and you may even gain some credit for it too!
Banbury Gunsmiths was the tackle shop that I used to use for my joker when I was fishing regularly.
I always used to scrape my own bloodworm as I could get the size that I wanted rather than leaving it to luck with matchpacks.
I quite enjoyed scraping and remember reading in one of the magazines that the only guy doing it in the uk commercially was going to retire. I wonder if there is a big enough call for it to do it for a living?

TF_wildingukthink the call for worm and joker is getting bigger, lots more waters are allowing its use now, and plenty more matches and leagues are starting to allow it.

TF_Bear361ParticipantI have managed to speak to the guy this afternoon, although he never returned my calls! He said it was or must be Royal Mails fault for losing the Special Delivery, but I know Special Deliveries are signed for every time they get passed to the next person in the delivery chain so surely I can`t see how that would happen? Anyway, he has assured me I will get fresh worm, free of charge for my next match and has promised it will be delivered on the 4th December. I know mistakes can happen so untill then I will not name the company directly on this post but if I fail to receive my worm I shall come back and name him.
