Can y’all give me some suggestions on what landing net head to buy next ?
Local tackle shops to me have ltd supplies this time o year so may have to get one off the net.
I have a preston rubber net at the mo’ but it has to go. The weight of it is ridiculous, it even helped split my landing net pole.
I’m looking at getting a 22″ /55cm ish net…. but it’s got to be LIGHT. Some o the nets on e bay look ok but look too shallow; I do catch the odd decent carp in my matches ya know!
Let me know what you’re using and if you’re happy with it. Equally, let me know who’s not happy with their net so I can steer clear.
        Thanks in advance lads/lasses.

I’ve been using the 20″ Preston Latex net for ages and have no problem with it! Fish to mid doubles go in it without trouble, and anything bigger is just a nightmare with average match-sized carp in.

It’s okay going down the lighter route, but unfortunately if you want a net strong enough for munters something needs to go by the wayside. I’m puzzled how the net “helped” split your net pole? If a 22″ net done it by just it’s weight you didn’t want a fish in it 😮

I would recommend the Drennan 22inch match model. Well made, light & good value.
            Regards Peter.

Milo landing net with foam on the arms, forgot the name of them – Davies Angling sell them. Second choice would be a Drennan net.

Thanks much Squat. I’ve ordered the Milo Superba 22″. Exactly what I was looking for.
                Much appreciated.
