  Looking to but my son a seat box , dont want to go over the top as it will be his first , but dont want to buy him a plastic box . looking to spend up to £150 ish for christmas , he is 11 yrs old and quite small . any suggestions ? .

  Danson Angling produced a really well made box. You might have a look there. Alternatively a second hand matchbox will do very nicely.

  That Matchbox is unbelievable value even at 249 original price. . theyre top quality and are MADE IN ENGLAND. Why buy Chinese crap when you can get that for the same money.

  Take a look at the Ron Thompson seat boxes – I’ve just bought one for £149.95. Comes complete with foot-plate and side tray. Not as heavy as Matchbox and quality good as built by the same people that build the Milo boxes. Well worth a look.

  the good wife bought me grandeslam box with foot-plate, side tray and bump bar for around 150 notes, for the G3
  it can take my weight, and i weigh a ton.
